    XP Crashes (WindowsXP )

I am having problems with WindowsXP. It will freeze and then reboot within about 1 minute. When it reboots, it will continue to freeze until I pull the plug and start over fresh. Then, I get the following message The display driver for Magnum/Xpert128/x99/xpert2000 seems to be causing the system instability.

This can happpen when I an in WORD, EXCEL, or on the internet composing an email or even surfing.

I have accessed the ATI site and downloaded their recommended driver for Windows XP but it has not allieviated the problem.

    Appreciate help from anyone.

    Thanks

Can you check your Event Viewer and see if there are any red or yellow flags that might narrow this down some? When did the problem start happening? Any recent changes to your configuration - software or otherwise - outside of the driver update?

What you've described certainly sounds like a hardware issue with the video card. It could be that the card itself is failing.
