Text entered on click (Access 2000, sr 1)

Is there a way to enter the '<' character into a field when the user double clicks on the blank field?

    Thanks.

Yes, the DoubleClick event can be used, and you simply set the value of the control bound to the field in questions as

    Me!MyControl="<"

Don't forget to wrap it in an If Then

If IsNull(Me!MyControl) Then
    Me!MyControl="<"
    End If
