    Differant Page Header (Word 2000)

I have a 4 page document. I would like to copy it to a document of a unique Header on the first page. After the first page the header should not be repeated. How and what do I set in order for the header not to be repeated.

    Thanks

You already have the receiving file set up so all you need to do is ensure that the 4-page doc does NOT include a section break and you can copy and paste it into the receiving file.

Re: Differant Page Header (Word 2000)

My problem is how/where do I set it up only to show the header on the first page. As soon as I select the diffirant first page my header on the first page disappears.

Re: Differant Page Header (Word 2000)

Select the Different First Page and then cut the header from the second page and paste it into the header for the first page. Do the same for the footer.

Turning on the Different First Page setting actually reveals a part of the file which was always there but hidden. Turning it off hides it and the other header/footer will then be shown on the first page.
