    Saving resized windows (xp pro)

Is there a way to save the size of a resized window? Upon rebooting my computer returns to its default. Also, is it possible to change the default size of a given window? thank you. sb

Yes, in MOST cases if you use the MENU to close or exit the window instead of using the RED X to close it, the size should be remembered.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

There's also a folder setting that I think needs to be checked. Run Windows Explorer, Tools, Folder Settings.....

Edited by WyllyWylly to shorten URL for legibility and to remove whitespace. See the Quick Guide.[/i] <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>

    Scott,

There is an entire post on your subject here.

I tried everything suggested and nothing really fixed the problem except
