    Replacing worksheets

Is there a method to insert a worksheet from another .xls file so that it replaces a work sheet of the same name (rather than creating a "worksheet name(2)" worksheet)?

    Thanks in advance.

    Re: Replacing worksheets

Without using VBA, or copying and pasting, I think you would have to delete the sheet you want replaced and then copy the replacement over.

Wouls a link between the two workbooks be possible and might it not be a better solution ?

    Re: Replacing worksheets

With sheet to be inserted active, do: ctrl+a, ctrl+c
This will copy the entire sheet into the clipboard.

Go to sheet that need to be replaced. Do: crtl+a, ctrl+v
The contents of the sheet are replaced but the tab name remains.

I think this is what you need.
