Publishing the web (FP2000)

I have a set up were one of my users users on NT server to work on her web. When things are the way she wants them, she moves the web over to another NT server. Can both the "test" web and the real web reside on the same physical machine? Do I just set this up with different directories?

Yes, this should be perfectly possible.

To get a fresh development copy, we recently published our entire web to the development server under a different name than the existing development copy. Then, we were able to publish work-in-progress from the old development copy to the newly-created one (on the same server, different drives) with no problems. It was no different than any other publish.

    Hope it works for you!
