Removing Office XP Completely (Office XP Pro)

I am having some problems with my Office XP installation (word crashing continuously following installation of WOPR!) so I tried to deinstall and reinstall. Problem is that the programme is so "clever" it remembers everything about the previous installation. I tried installing Office 2000 having removed XP but it wouldn't let me as it siad it was an older version. I want to start from cartch and note/watch the installation to diagnose the problem -- do I have to format the disk and start again! <img src=/S/confused.gif border=0 alt=confused width=15 height=20>

Re: Removing Office XP Completely (Office XP Pro)

    Why uninstall Office XP?
THe problem is more likely with WOPR.

I'd suggest removing WOPR and then re-installing Office XP.
