    check for filter applied (2000)

I have a combo box on a form that I use to quickly find records - this works fine, and I used simple code to keep it synchronized if the user moves to another record. But I have another form that then opens to this form and displays (FILTERS) a specific record. When this same form opens with a FILTER APPLIED, I would like the combo box to become unactive or invisible (because the user may drop the box down, and the record will not change, because it has a filter).

I know all the code EXCEPT - how do I check the form to see if a filter is currenlty applied? (I was looking into SysCmd(asSysCmdGetObjectSate, acForm, ) , but I can't find a objState with "filter on".

    THANKS!

I believe you should be able to simply check the FilterOn property of the form for a True or False state.
