    outlook express address book (6)

I'm looking for an outlook express address book on a xp drive, does anyone know where it lives and what extension it uses, also is it possible to import it to a 98 system?

Look in "Cocuments and Settings"account name"Application DataMicrosoftAddress Book"
It will be a WAB type.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

Dave knows far more about this than I - but it might be worth "exporting" the wab (windows address book) onto a backup disc, then importing it from the backup into the 98 system. This is the way I have had to do it for several of my associates, it seemed to be the only way it worked without problems. <img src=/S/igiveup.gif border=0 alt=igiveup width=31 height=23>

Thanks for your answer. Is it possible that the .wab file won't download properly to a win98 machine? I've double clicked on the file and they appear to be empty, should the addresses be visible?

Hi Dave, I found out that the problem was we were using version 5 not 6, we upgraded and that solved the problem.
Thanks for your time and help
