    Faulty Start-Up

Just tried to start my machine but it hanged at the point where windows is supposed to load.(Blinking white cursor upper left corner).
Didn`t know what to do so I,hit the on/off button, waited a few seconds and tried again.
Well it came back saying that windows didn`t fully load the last time and I,should continue start-up in safety-mode.
So I,did and when it was done(starting up in safety-mode).
I,rebooted again and windows came up again but very slow(much slower than usuall).
And I`ve rebooted a couple of times but it still keeps loading windows very slow, also it still hesitates at the point,
where the cursor is in the upper left corner.
Anyone got an idea what the problem might be?

I would run a full Scandisk as soon as possible -there may be some corruption.

See Q199557 : Command-Line Parameters for the Scandisk Tool

    Hi Leif,
Did what you advised and run the ScanDisc,C & D.
(Keep in mind that the following is my free translation from the Dutch WinMe).
"ScanDisc has not found any errors on this station"
    "0 Bytes in damaged sectors"
As I, said a free translation.
Now this was just done in windows, because there`s a problem doing it with the start-up disk.
The problem is I,don`t have one.
I,know how to make one but they just don`t work.
So,I cannot do it in minimal mode, like your article suggests or run all the additional commands.
Yes,when there`s gonna be a problem with starting my machine or Windows rather I`m (You know what).
Maybe you know of something else I,might check?
    Thanks so far Leif,

    Greetz.
