I doubt that I'm the only fan of Ramen noodles here, so here's a simple little recipe:

<img src=/w3timages/purpleline.gif width=33% height=2>
1 cup coctail shrimp
2 packs Shrimp or Oriental flavoured noodles, or one of each
1 cup shredded or mixed vegetables (carrots, celery, onion, green pepper, or other favourites)
garlic to taste, minced or pressed
butter

Cook and drain the noodles plain - without the flavour package - and set aside.
Melt the butter in a small frying pan and add garlic; simmer.
Add the shrimp and cook in the garlic butter until almost tender.
Stir in vegetables and cook until heated but still crisp.
Remove from heat and mix in noodles.
Sprinkle the contents of the flavour packets over the dish and mix again.

Serve hot.

Total prep & cooking time is less than 15 minutes.

It's a simple little recipe that can be altered quite easily to take care of any leftover chicken, pork, or beef that might be lingering around, especially if there's not quite enough to have as a main dish.
