Reset page numbers in VB (Word 97 SR-2)

I need to create a macro which does the following:

    1. Create a next page section break in a document
    2. Ask the user whether they want the page numbers to be reset or not.
Page numbering is centred in the footer and there are fields left
aligned and right aligned also in the footer.

For the life of me I can't get this to work - especially the page numbering - how can I do this?

    Thanks again.

There are two settings, the rule on whether to restart numbering, and the starting page number, for each section. Take a look at <!post=Post #177436,177436>Post #177436<!/post> for further insight into where these settings are in the object model. Hope this helps.

If you are actually trying to insert a new page number into a footer as Range object, that's complicated, and if that's the problem, please post the relevant section of code.
