    Font size for comments (97)

I'm sure this must be easy but I don't know how to do it. The default font for pop up comments in cells seems to be 8 point Tahoma, but if you set the zoom to a level where you can see a lot of cells at once, the comments are too small to read. Where do I change this?

From the Excel 97 Help file regarding formatting comments:
<hr>To change the default background color for new comments, use the Display icon on the Windows Control Panel to set the ToolTip color to the background color you want. When you change this setting, the background color of comments you previously entered does not change.<hr>
Also in said display properties, you can change the font size.

Beware changing the defaults in WINDOWS changes the settings for ALL tooltips in ALL programs that use the default window settings

    Thanks for pointing that out.

I would have suggested some VBA code to actually manipulate the comments, but I figured that by the time I had my VBA editor open, someone would have already had the code posted. My thought would be to cycle through the comments collection (is there a comments collection?), and change the font. The only issue is that when the zoom changes back, the comments would have to as well.

It sounds as though the answer is no, then, and the best I can do is change the font size in individual comments. I don't really want to change all the tooltips.

I wasn't sure I wanted to get into all that. I'd just hoped there was an easy setting somewhere.
