Page Numbering on a Slide (2000)

I have slide numbering enabled on a rather large presentation. I would like to have the slide numbering begin on the 5th slide of the presentation, with THAT slide numbered as slide 1 and subsequent slides incrementing thereafter.

Question: Other than placing a text box with a "hard number" on each slide, is there a more expeditious way to do this?
Thanks,

I think that you would have to write a macro to do this. The logic would be:

for each s in slides
turn off slide number
if s.slideNumber > 5 then
create a text box with the same location/dimension
as the slide number placeholder
put the slide number + 5 into the textbox
