Attachment to multi addresses won't work (97)

    Hello all <img src=/S/cheers.gif border=0 alt=cheers width=30 height=16>

We have the following problem here:
A user is sending and mail with attachment (3Mb) to 10 users. The mails are not send by Exchange?
Is this because 1 mail + attachmend of 3Mb to 10 users = a 30Mb mail?? or will Exchange handel it as 10 seperatie mails of 3Mb?

Are you are you NOT using Exchange?

As for the file size, it will be 10 copies at 3megs each. Also NOTE that a lot of email servers will NOT accept files of this size, and any one on a dial up would be out for a LONG waite for the file to down load.

    Hello Dave,

By exchange I meant the Exchange server (sorry)
And, yes I know of the files size limitations, But these files where sent to clients How often receive lager files, so No problems there

And maybe I should be more clear. The receipients recieve the mail but no attachment at all.
    Thanks for your response.

I send attachments all the time, but I do NOT use Exchange. Your setings on your server may have been changed so the larger files can not be sent, or the receivers serviers will no longer accept large files.
