Use results of 1 cell to be formula for other cell (2000)

Hello everyone. Does anyone know if it is possible to use the results of one cell to become the formula for another cell? For Example, let's say cell A1 contained the text =IF(A20>5, "More than half","Less than or equal to half"). Can I now set cell A2's formula bar by using this text? I've looked over all the functions, but don't know a way to do this yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The VBA Evaluate method will allow you to do this, but you can usually rethink your design and use Excel's Indirect function. See this thread for more information. HTH --Sam
