Know a good, cheap Access ad-hoc report writer? (2000)

Anyone know of an add-in for a good, cheap/free Access ad-hoc report writer? I'm looking just for something that can do basic ad-hoc reporting. If anyone can make some recommendations, I would appreciate it! Thank you for your time and insight.

Of course! However, I have to create approximately 50 reports, and would like to explore an ad-hoc writer that can do this for me, and also handle future reporting needs.

So define an "ad-hoc report writer", please. For that matter, define an "ad hoc report".

Either the reports have similarities in which case it is worth writing them with perhaps parameter queries behind them so you don't have to ad their hocs all the time

or they are so different that using access as the ad hoc report writer would be your best bet.

There are versions for XP and 97. It is free. You have to see if it works for you.
