    Path (2K)

Is it possible to determine the path where the MDE resides with in a module? My application can be loaded in any directory that a user wishes but I need to find out where thay have loaded in order to link to files?

    Assuming you are using ADO,

    CurrentProject.Path

Will give you the path for the file (mde, mdb) that you are in.

Well, actually, CurrentProject is a method of Access. Even if you set a DAO reference and turn off ADO, you can still call CurrentProject.Path.

Well, I'll be. I geuss you learn something new everyday.

I always though it was an ADO method, since I had never noticed it in A97.

    Thanks Charlotte,

    Well, I guess that explains why I never noticed in in A97. <img src=/S/doh.gif border=0 alt=doh width=15 height=15>
