I have inherited a machine at work that I am using as a test machine. Whoever had used the machine before me turned the IE Content Advisor on and it cannot be turned off without a password. In order to remove this function I am assuming that I will need to remove IE and then reinstall. Can this also be modified in the registry somewhere? I understand that it is very difficult to remove IE. We have already tried to synchronize it with the network version and that was unsuccessful. Has anyone had any experience getting rid of this? Is it even possible without doing anything too drastic?
