    Macro String Search (Word2002)

    Hi,

Have any of y'all done this?: Searched a word document for a string of text off a list, then highlight the matching entries? All my VBA experience is in Excel, kind of a newbie for Word VBA.

    Thanks for the kickstart!

First try it using Find and Replace, interactively, then record that as a macro. (Despite the bad rap the macro recorder gets, recording a Find and Replace operation can provide a lot of insight. <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15> ) After that, you can convert your macro into a function that takes a "strFindThis" parameter and you'll have a re-usable solution.
