    Just a quickie (A2000 SR1)

I have a calculated text on a sub. And for the life of me I can't remember the correct syntax or method.

    At the moment I have : =Count([EstimateNo])

On the main I capture this calculation via : =[Forms]![frmStatus]![sbfstatus].[Form]![txtCountRecords]

When their are no records in the sub I get #Error

    What do I use :

    =Count(nz([EstimateNo]),0) ???????????????

    I can't remember !!!!!!

You should be able to put a textbox in your subform's footer, setting its controlsource to: =Count("*")

    This works
    =IIf(IsNumeric([Forms]![frmStatus]![sbfstatus].[Form]![txtCountRecords]),[Forms]![frmStatus]![sbfstatus].[Form]![txtCountRecords],0)
but there should be a simpler solution than that.
