Delete return after a table. (Office XP Professional)

I have a table in the header that needs to be seamless with a table in the body of the document.

I can not find a way to delete the return after the table in the header.

    Thanks.

You can't. All tables in Word end in a return as that's where the formatting for the table is stored. However, you can format the paragraph marker (return) as hidden by selecting it & pressing Ctrl+Shift+H. You can also format its size as 1 pt, which effectively makes it hidden.
    Cheers,

    Why are you doing this?

I have come across people doing this when they don't know that Word can repeat the table headings on subsequent pages by using the Heading Rows Repeat entry on the Table menu. But you may have a different reason...

Not to mention, but I will, each header ends with a paragraph mark, so you cannot delete the critter.

    Thanks for your help.

I have an FAA form that requires a lot of information repeated at the top of each page (header), I input it once.

The body has input lines including an auto repeat column header.

    This solves my problem

    Thanks again.

    Paul.
