    Fax a Report (A2K)

    Hello all.
I am trying to create a command that will fax a report (instead of printing for instance) . The only info I can find is from my *favorite* source for detailed & accurate info- the MSKB It suggests using SendObject after manually going in and setting the printer to Microsoft Fax. I would really like to be able to click on a button and have Access take the current fax number and fax to it. I looked into sending it to Outlook and faxing from there but I was not able to figure it out. Alas, all this technology just to send a fax but any ideas would really be appreciated.

Your best approach to automating a fax is to buy Winfax. It incorporates a Word macro. You can then automate between Access and Word and then fax at the press of a button.
I've tried finding solutions to this problem within Windows and come to a dead end. Buy Winfax - it's great if you're into faxing.

Peter, thanks for the information, it is much appreciated! I am glad to see there is an option and also glad to see it was not just my lack of programming savy!
