Replicating Between Databases

Replicating database between locations can be time-consuming and
difficult. Royal PTT Post of the Netherlands has developed commercial
middleware called the High Volume Replicator, which replicates data
between database at very high speeds. HVR is extremely robust and
supports a wide range of OS. Available for license.

Since this says "back office database", I assume it handles products like SQL Server and Oracle, rather than Access/Jet, which is not a server-based database.

You are correct Charlotte it does not work with Access.

I'm afraid I read BackOffice to indicate Microsoft BackOffice! So I assumed it would work with Microsoft products. <img src=/S/sad.gif border=0 alt=sad width=15 height=15>

Relational databases'. Please see your question with the corresponding
answer below:

Q: "Will it work with Microsoft Access 97, 2000 & XP?"

A: "The HVR supports SQL Server under Windows 2000 and XP. Access 97 is NOT
supported."

BackOffiice means server products in Microsoft-speak. Access isn't included in that group because Jet isn't a database server, only a database engine.
