IE keeps locking up. (IE 5.5)

While experimenting with some Stardock Window Blinds, IE started locking up. I've tried everything, including a restart in Safe Mode and can't get IE to run. Is there a way to reinstall it, or to diagnose the problem and then fix? I've unloaded WinBlinds as well. BTW, I've been sucessfully running WinBlinds for some time now, but am guessing that something in a new template caused the problem.

Re: IE keeps locking up. (IE 5.5)

    Hi Ken:
I'm not sure & I'm not familiar with WinBlinds. But why don't you go to Start/Settings/control panel/Add-Remove Software & scroll for IE 5.5. When you click on Remove or Uninstall (I don't have it in front of me, so I'm not sure of the exact word), a dialog box comes up where one of the options is to repair IE. Try that first & see if it works.

Depending upon your operating system, there may be other things you can do if that doesn't work.
