    Displaying Messages (2K SR1)

I need to be able to display programmatic pop up information messages that don't require user intervention. Many times there are things going on behind the scenes that take a lot of time or appear to lock up the system when in reality it is just a lengthy query running. I can't use the status bar because Access will over write it with it's own messages like running query status and users don't notice it. Message boxes require user intervention. Is there a method to do this that I'm unaware of?

    Any help would be appreciated.

There was a recent thread on similar question. A solution was provided that may meet your needs:

    <!post=MsgBox (A2000 SR1),180412>MsgBox (A2000 SR1)<!/post>

Thanks for the tip Mark. I did a search and didn't get a hit. Can you give me a hint of the subject.

Did you click the link in my previous post (should appear underlined & bold)? It's a shortcut to the previous thread I was referring to. If you read thru this thread you'll find some sample code that may work for what you are trying to do. I remember checking it out and it worked.
