    Rank Function (Office 2000)

I have a list of probability numbers I want to identify by rank. But I found that the Rank function does not rank =0.001*0.01*0.1 and =0.002*0.001*0.5 equally. Does any one know why?

Most likely because of rounding error. If you display the results of those calculations to 15 decimal places, you will probably see that they are different. If you want them to be the same, you will probably have to round the results to the appropriate number of places.
