new window in IE pops up BLANK (Windows 2000)

Help. Most of the time when I click on a link, the new window gets launched, but it remains Blank. There is nothing. Nothing in the address bar, nothing displayed, and no activity. Any suggestions??

    Thanks

Do you use any ad-blocking software/pop-up stoppers?

    Is this a case of re-registering DLL's?? Where's Mark?

Yes, I do. I use Pop-Up Stopper, but I don't think this is the problem. Because: 1) I had and used the program before and had no problem. (The problem started after I "upgraded" to Win2KProf from Win98. 2) Most windows will open just fine, and even if I turn the Pop-Up Stopper off, the Windows still don't display correctly.

Have you checked to see if there is a update for Win 2k and the pop ip stopper?

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.
