    Excel Add-In (2000)

Frequently, I have the need to change reference styles between relative and absolute and vice-versa. I also frequently find the need to change a formula to an array formula and find the "copy from the formula bar, paste, and CTRL-SHIFT-ENTER method" to be a pain. So, I made this little add-in that I thought some of the loungers might find useful.

This add-in adds two popup menus to the "cell" or right-click menu bar.

The first popup menu lets you change the reference style betwixt the four naming conventions, absolute, relative, absolute rows-relative columns, relative row-absolute columns.

The second popup menu lets you change a formula from array entered to non-array entered, and vice-versa.

I would welcome any comments, constructive criticism, or other improvements that would seem to be in order.

This uses the .Tag values of "224" and "225" to determine which controls to delete at add-in uninstall, so if you have tags set to these properties, please do not install this add-in. Otherwise, do so at your own risk! Works fine on my machine, cannot take responsibility for unwanted changes made to your customized right-click menu!

To use this, open the attached file, and save as an add-in.

    Looks good Michael.

One remark: It cannot cope with a multicell array.

Would be nice as an additional option: change multicell array formula. Right now I select the array of cells, press F2, control-enter to make it normal formula's and then control-shift enter the individual one(s).

Thanks Jan, I have never used multicell arrays very much, so I did not think of that.
