    Finding Duplicate Files

Can anyone recommend a utility for finding duplicate files scattered all across a hard drive? It would need to only tag those files with the same name and file size regardless of its location. Even better would be the ability to span multiple drives.

    Re: Finding Duplicate Files

Try SpaceHound32 for starters. I had something else in my toolkit that wasn't anywhere near as nice to look at, but it was <img src=/S/free.gif border=0 alt=free width=30 height=15> so I lived with it. If SpaceHound doesn't get it for you, let me know and I'll dig it up. <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>

Toni Arts inlcudes this ability in EClea1_7(Easy Cleaner V1.7).exe. You can find it at http://www.toniarts.com/ecleane.htm .It's free & I use it to clean out the registry also.
    Cheers,
edited to add: I just checked the link & it must have changed. I've corrected it.

Space Hound did everything I needed thanks. It's a little expensive at $40 but I think I'm going to register it anyway.
