    Windows 98SE

Hello, I have a very large file (859MB) on my hard drive called Config.Msi that contains numerous RBF files and 3 RBS files. On other WIN98 systems that I have seen this file is not present. Is it safe for me to delete it off my system? Thanks, John

I believe this is a backup-folder created when an upgrade to Office 2000 was made, and would enable you to go back to a previous version.
In theory - and if you are happy all is going well - you can delete it.
To play safe, you may wish to rename the folder to something like ConfigMsi.old and run with it for a week or two - if all applications are running OK, delete away.
