    Week View/Preview (2000)

In resource usage view, if the minor timescale is less than a month (ex: week), print preview takes almost 5 minutes to view and the memory usage for winproj.exe (in the Windows Taskmanager screen) skyrockets to 444,236K. Then, the preview is almost 6,000 pages. If the minor timescale is a month or larger (quarter, etc.), it only takes a few seconds to preview. The project we are tracking is from Jan 2000 until Dec 2008.

Also, if we go to File, Print, and select a date range, no matter what we pick, the entire file is viewed anyway. It seems to ignore the selected date range. Any ideas?

    Regarding the File, Print:
    1. Are you printing out a resource usage report?
    2. You must use the File, Print from the main toolbar to set the date parameters. Using the regular print button will not select the dates specified.

You might want to try filtering the project first before running the print function.

We are trying to print a resource pool report. The weird thing is, we can't print out the resources pool report directly, but if we open another project and go to the resource pool, we can print the report we need with no problem. It's like it won't work anymore unless we go through the project to print it. There are several projects tied to this resource pool, and we can access the resource pool for All projects through any one given project. In the past, we were able to print the resource pool directly for all projects, but now we can't.
