using 1 text box to retrieve data (Access 97/2000)

    Hi All
Can Somebody help me please. My dbse contain a table like this:
    Design View
    ID --Auto Number -- PK
    A --Text Length --3(x)
    B --Text - ~ - --4(x)
    A --Text - ~ - --3(x)

    Datasheet View
    ID --A --B --C
    1 --456 --5891 --248
    2 --555 --8796 --358
    3 --------~
    4 ......
I would like to have on a form a text box or Combo where the user type in any one of these constant numbers , he/she gets the whole row in label or text box showing fields A, B & C
    Example if I type in 358 , I should get 555 8796 358
Not necessarly in this particular order.
    Thank you all

Does that mean if you keyin 555 you will get 555 8796 358 or if you keyin 8796 you will also get 555 8796 358 ?
What happens about the duplicates, there must be many 555's assuming these are phone numbers?

Yes that's exactely right when I key in any number that exists in the table it will show me the whole row with the 3 fields matching the number I entered. Regarding duplicate, there is none, the numbers are unique and constant there are about 140 rows.
    Thank you

Use a combox with this query as recordsource :
    SELECT Table4.ID, Table4.A FROM Table4
    UNION
    SELECT Table4.ID, Table4.B FROM Table4
    UNION
    SELECT Table4.ID, Table4.C FROM Table4;

Hi Thankyou for your response . sorry, I'm not sure why It wouldn't work for me. I had to use different method (whis is not the best) which is a parametre qry that prompts the user to enter a number 3 times for A, B then C fields with an OR operator.
