    How to examine properties of a drawing object ? (E

    I have an Excel worksheet containing several drawing autoshape objects ("shape"s).

    I'd now like to examine the properties for these objects.

    I've tried using Project Explorer to see the worksheet properties & etc; I've poked around with Object Explorer.
    I don't see anyplace something that looks like the list of "shape" objects corresponding to the drawing objects on my worksheet.

    I'm pretty naive about the use of VBA so I''m sure I'm missing something.....

    How do I do this ?

    TIA

    The only method I know is to write a macro that does something like...
    <pre>For each shp in Activedocument.Shapes
    <font color=448800> ' put code here to retrieve and display the properties you are interested in</font color=448800>
    Next shp

    For each inlshp in ActiveDocument.InlineShapes
    <font color=448800> ' put code here to retrieve and display the properties you are interested in</font color=448800>
    Next inlshp
    </pre>

    It might be fun to write a little "Shape Explorer" application that displayed some of the interesting attributes of a shape turn and allowed you to step through all the shapes in a document.
