    Language Complexity (Word XP, WinME)

Before upgrading to XP, I used to use a tool in Word that let me check the complexity of language used in a document. I don't recall the names of the scales used, but they were standard language complexity/comprehension measures. I can't find them in Word XP. Were they dropped? If not, where do I look for them?

    TIA

In Word 2000 this is controlled by Tools > Options > Spelling and Grammar > Show Readability Statistics

Thank you so much, Stuart. I had lost track of the path to that option.

BTW, who is that bearded fellow? . . . Your alter-ego?

I just had a quick look in the mirror and I don't seem to have a beard, I think it might be my mother <img src=/S/exclamation.gif border=0 alt=exclamation width=15 height=15>
