Move data to row from colume

How do I move a list in a column to a row. List is about 100 stock symbols and I want it strung out horizontally in a row, columns A to CY or so

Select the column (not the whole column, just the cells needed). Copy it (Ctrl-C or EditCopy). Move the cursor to the start of the row (which should NOT be anywhere on the old column) and choose Edit PasteSpecial (nb not Paste). Check the box for Transpose.

If the original cells contain values then you're ok. I usually check the Values box also anyway.

If the original cells contain formulae, then you need to make sure that the formulae have copied properly. Usually they don't and it's easier to re-create them.
I find it's better to do Copy and PasteSpecial than Cut and PasteSpecial because you can check that it's right before deleting the original.
I have put a PasteSpecial button on my toolbar. (I copied the button from PasteFormats and edited to put an S on it.)
