Tab to New Record (2002 (XP))

I have a Form for data entry but I want to make so that you can't just hit tab on the last field and it will jump to a new record. I will make a button to get to the new record

Isn't that the normal behaviour of a form anyway.
Why introduce a button to goto the new record when the default behaviour does it.

I do not want the user to loose focus on the record if they hit the tab one to many times. The primary purpose of tthis form will be to fill it out and then print a report based on the form. I want the form to only go to the new record after it is printed and I want the user to have to click a button to do this.

What you need to do is set form's Cycle property to "Current Record". Look on form's Property Sheet "Other" tab, 3rd item from top. What you DON'T want is "All Records" (the default for some annoying reason).

Sorry, I missed the word "can't", this changes it to be the opposite to what I thought.
You can set the Cycle property of the form to be Current Record which will move the cursor back to the first control of the form.
