Find Macro and find link (2000)

I have a spreadsheet that was sent to me. Upon opening a security warning appears. I have adjusted my security so I can open and activate the macros if I choose. My question is how can I find the macro within the workbook (12 worksheets). I look in the macro editor but can't find anything? Is the warning a default regardless of whether there is actually a macro or not? Also in the same spreadsheet a message appears indicating that a link to a data source cannot be found. Is there a way to search the workbook for a link? Can't find the link/reference anywhere. Thanks for the help! sb

One place that is overlooked for links is in the range names (insert - name - define).
If they have references to another workbook, it will have the link entry.

    Concerning the Macro warning:
Any modules (even if empty) will trigger the warning
    User forms
and any code in a sheet or the thisWorkbook object

(Edited by HansV to update link to Excel MVP site)

As for links: you can download Bill Manville's findlink utility from http://www.bmsltd.ie/mvp. This utility will show you the location and source of all links in a workbook, with the option to delete them.
