page X of Y printing problem

I have a five page document. In the footer, the only thing I have is the "page X of Y" command. On the print preview, all seems ok, i.e. it says 1 of 5, 2 of 5, etc..
I need to print two copies of this document. When this prints, the first copy is fine, the second copy changes. It states "1 of 2, 2 of 2, 3 of 3, etc." in the footer.
The document itself is still correct on the screen, only the second printed copy is wrong.
    Why is it doing this?

    thanks
    Rick
