Send on behalf of someone else (Outlook 2002)

Is it possible to add to the "From" field that you are sending on behalf of someone else so when the email is received that will be reflected? In my research, it looks like this cannot be done with Outlook 2000. Does anyone know if this is a possibity in 2002? I don't want to make this permanent as my user works for two separate attorneys and would be sending on behalf of both of them, as well as herself. <img src=/S/brickwall.gif border=0 alt=brickwall width=25 height=15>

Would it be practical to have multiple accounts set up for the user? If so, you can enter the return-to account information to have replies sent to the correct individual, and the "From" field can show "Sent by {me} on behalf of {you}". The message can be cc'd or bcc'd to the person for whom the message is being sent.

You can do this if you're on Exchange and the secretary/assistant has sufficient rights. In OL2K and OLXP you open a mail item. From the item's view menu, choose View From. To the recipient the mail will appear to have come from the attorney.

This is a reply to an old post but the question has come up, can you send on behalf of someone without the name of the user sending and the words "on behalf of"? In other words, I want to send an email on behalf of my boss but I want it to look as though my boss actuall sent the email. In 2003, it will do this and with one user of 2002, it did this but now it is adding the actual sender's name and the words . . .
