    ChangeLink Command (w2kO2ksr1)

I'm trying to use the ChangeLink command, as in
    Workbook.ChangeLink Link1,Link2,xlExcelLinks
This used to allow me to copy a sheet from a workbook to a new workbook, then switch the sheet to sheet references so the were contained within the new workbook. But now when I try to use it, I get "invalid external reference" errors.
Does anyone know where there is more extensive documentation on how this command works than is available in the help?
Has this command been changed in w2k from older versions? It sure is painful when things that used to work fail.

    Re: ChangeLink Command (w2kO2ksr1)

I discovered what was preventing proper operation of the ChangeLink command. In an earlier project, I had been capturing and saving print layout parameters, and somewhere in the process had caused excel to create some "special" names such as:
    CC!Z_F4B0F3D5_A9F8_4BEC_8049_DADA37A3CADF_.wvu.Row s, with contents like:
    $2:$2,$5:$5,$9:$9
Figuring out how I did this (or why Excel did it) will be my next task. However, the ChangeLink command failed when it ran into a strange reference like this one. After I deleted all such names, it ran fine.
