How to Move Folders (97 SR2)

Our NT4.0 server is backed up daily, but our workstations are not. If one of our workstations needs to have the OS reloaded, it loses the contacts folder, inbox, calendar, etc. I've tried moving the "pab" & "pst" folders to user folders on the server, and when Outlook opens, I point it to those folder files. However, not everything works correctly. For instance, if I try to send a web page via email to someone, the system can't find my address book. Is there something else I need to move to the server? I can't seem to find any settings in Outlook itself.

    Thanks

This process is unfortunately more complex than it ought to be. I'd suggest you get on the MSKB at support.microsoft.com and start with article Q168644. There may be links that you should follow too.

Thanks for the advice. I found out this process involves going to Control Panel / Mail & Fax, and removing Outlook Address Book from the services set up in the profile, then adding the address book back in.
