Update form before print preview (2000)

I have a form where I have a start time, finish time and a date field. I used a wizard to put a button on their that opens a report using the info from that specific form. I have a report id hidden field on the form and on the table that I use to bring up specific records. My problem is that when if I leave my cursor in the last field or even if I tab to the button, it doesn't have all the information on my report. It's almost like it's not updating or saving before the print preview. I am using a macro for the button where I told it to save first and then openreport in preview mode. I thought the Save function would cure the problem, but it hasn't. I would appreciate any help. Thanks, Jodi

I'm guessing the Save action in the macro is saving the form, not the record. Instead, change the action to RunCommand, then in the Command box that appears below that, enter "SaveRecord".
