    Subform Problem (2002 (XP))

    I have a form based on this crosstab query

    PARAMETERS [Forms]![frmReportsClass]![Combo7] Long;
    TRANSFORM StDev(qryCrossAttend.lngClassNumber) AS StDevOflngClassNumber
    SELECT qryCrossAttend.Name
    FROM qryCrossAttend
    WHERE (((qryCrossAttend.lngClassNumber)=[Forms]![frmReportsClass]![Combo7]))
    GROUP BY qryCrossAttend.Name, qryCrossAttend.lngClassNumber
    PIVOT qryCrossAttend.dtmClassDate;

    I want to bring this form in and have it become a subform in a report but I get an error that says I can't use a passthrough query or non fixed column crosstab query as a data source in a sub form or report. Os there any way around this. I tried to make column headings fixed but in this case they are all dates grabbed from a table and their # varies.

    From what I believe you cannot have a subform in a report (You may be right, I may be wrong, (Billy Joel)).
    Can you setup a report with the crosstab query as it's source?

    There have been several discussions about dynamic column headings for crosstab reports. If you do a search you will find them. For example, <post#=35485>post 35485</post#> and <post#=134439>post 134439</post#> have demos attached.
