    OnExit Event for Formfields (2002/SR1)

In a protected document, if a user clicks out of a form field with an OnExit event, the event does not always fire. Does anyone have a workaround for this behavior?

I'm not a VBA expert, but I do know that it must be a macro that can be executed in a protected document. Otherwise, your macro must unprotect, execute, & reprotect the document for forms without resetting the form fields.

On the "OnExit", it SHOULD always fire.

I don't know if there are things that you can do where the "Onexit" does not get triggered (perhaps on the Print or Save for example?)

Do you know which event is not firing it up? Perhaps you can post an example?

I agree that the OnExit should always fire but if you click to a protected area on the form that is not a formfield, the OnExit event does not fire. I have tried everything and I think now that it must be a bug in Word 2000.
