Audio Player For Shockwave Files?

I have 13 Shockwave .swf files on my hard drive, each one being a musical rendition. I am looking for a way to play each file automatically in succession (playlist) without having to open each file individually. Both Windows Media Player and Real Player do not support .swf files (regardless of what the Real Player Help File says). Is there a free audio player available that I can download to do this? Or is there another way that this can be done? Thanks. Robert

Being a fan of Flash files, I have an assortment of sight, sound, and mixed files I enjoy on a regular basis and have been beleagured with the situation you would like to work around. Here are several options I have at hand:

1) The first and easiest option is to download and save to your desktop the <big><font color=ff6666>Swiff Extractor</font color=ff6666></big>. Swiff Extractor lets you extract all image and sound resources from any Macromedia Flash<font color=ff6666>

Thanks for your reply.

I have Macromedia Flash 6.0.47.0 and Shockwave 8.5.1 already on my system that I downloaded from their web site. I don't understand the difference between the Flash that I already have on my system and the Flash that you recommend I download. When I download the latter and install it, all it appears to do is add a NPSWF32.dll file to my IE PlugIn folder that was not previously there.

I have my .swf files associated to open with IE. When I open a .swf audio file, there is no "Create Projector" listed under the File menu. Obviously I'm not getting something right somewhere. You lost me in the second half of your 2nd paragraph. Can you help?

Hi Robert~

The difference is that it plays in its own stand-alone player rather than in your browser. Next time you open an .swf file, right click and you should see the context menu choice as I have shown below.

You may also re-associate your .swrs with the Flash player. Once you have the Flash Player open you will have the availability of the 'Create Projector' from 'File' on menu. I have lots of .swf audio only files and that is how I use them.
