    Graph 10 (2002)

I try to create a form with a bar graph to report sales by year and month. The data are in a simple table with three fields year, month and amount. when I create the graph I select data from a table or query in the data window and I have checked the option for data member, table, view or cube. Unfortunately I don't have any of my tables in the pop up list.
I am sure I did something wrong or something it's not set up.
    Any help will be appreciated.
    Marcel.

Sorry you have had a wait for this.

I would go into view code and look at tools/references. Make sure graph 10 is checked.

I have tried that and I am still not able to link a source for the graph. I continue to use graph 8 and it works well but I would like to know how to use this version 10.

    Thanks for your help.

    Marcel.

OK. I cant get it to work either as it will not connect to data in the current DB, Could be one of those controls you have to build lots of code to get it to do anything.

I tried the reference and setting the connection string to Jet. Whatever you do it fails the connection test. With Jet it says the database file is open which I knew. I was designing a form in it. Perhaps the control is meant for VB (not VBA) where you are accessing a a database which is not necessarily open.
