I'm going to install a rogramme that I've bought that synchonises calendar, contacts & (soon) mail on a peer to peer network of 2 of the three Pc's.
Background:
Now, the provider says that I should install the O2K SR2 patch - the one that mucks up attachment - before I install their software. That means I think that I have to install O2K SR1 before SR2 = no problems; also the software provider does state that their programme does disable the SR2 "patch" and that without that patch it might not be stable = to me I am happy to accept their word.
The nub of the matter:
I had a hard disk fail in July 2002, replaced it and got everything re-running Ok. On looking at my O2K installation today I realised that I had not re-applied SR1 to this Pc. Therefore I spent 159minutes downloading it. Is there a way of downloading these upgrades ONCEso that I can apply them to the 2 Pc's please? All software IS registered.
Unfortunately I cannot receice ADSL, therefore Dial-up modem rules KO, which time is limited and - hence my question. To all loungers who have helped me in the past a GB Thanks.
