    Excel Bullets (Excel 97)

I have seen posts on creating Bullet (bulleted lists) in Excel Cells for v2000 and XP - but does anybody know how to do it in Excel 97 ?

I don't think its possible - but I am sure somebody will prove me wrong !

    Thanks in advance

    Re: Excel Bullets (Excel 97)

There is no way to create a real bulleted list in Excel 97 that behaves as a bulleted list in Word.

If you do a search for "bullet" in this forum, you'll find that there are several ways to create a sort of bulleted list (see for instance the thread starting at <post#=63079>post 63079</post#>):

You need to have Num Lock on to do this.
Another way to get this character is to enter the formula =CHAR(149) into a cell.
If that doesn't work, character 0149 might not be a bullet in the font you're using. Start the Character Map accessory, set the font to the font you're using in Excel, and see if you can find a bullet-like character. If so, select and copy it, then paste it into Excel.
