    custom formats (2000)

An easy one-I just can't seem to find the answer. How do I format a cell to display the text "As of:" before a date that is contained in another cell. For example, assume the date is in cell A1 as "dd-mm-yy". I would like to display this same date in B1, but have B1 display "As of : MMMM-DD-YYYY", with the "MMMM-DD-YYYY" being the link (i. e., =A1) the contents of A1.

Use "As of :" MMMM-DD-YYYY as the custom format.

Put the following formula in cell B1:

    ="As of: "&TEXT(A1,"mmmm-dd-yyyy")
